Models in the country have been convinced to take photographing as the best way of exposing themselves to the international platform.
The remarks were made last weekend by the renowned fashion
photographer, Osse Sinare who visited training session for upcoming
models who are trained by the Black Fox Modeling Company at Paparazi
Club in Dar es Salaam’s Slipway suburb.
Sinare urged models to realise that their best photographs can
easily connect them to big advertisements deals and endorsements from
reputed international companies.
He added that photos can easily expose their beauty to different
corners of the world and earn a lot of money and what they need to do is
just to create a portfolio album where they put all the best photos.
He said that the album can be used as their promotion materials
especially when they are discussing about the commercial adverts.
"Being a professional fashion photographer I have realised that in
Tanzania there are many cute ladies for advertisements and some of them
they don't know how to expose themselves through pictures", he said.
He added that "there is a connection of picture and beauty as
beauty of a person can easily be exposed through pictures, but the
problem is on how to get and use the best required pictures, on my side I
believe that once models get the best pictures and create a portfolio,
it can easily expose them".
He advised them to consider a modeling as the best work that can be
used to earn a lot of money through fashion designing as well as
commercial.
Meanwhile, the director for Black Fox Models, Aj Mynah said that
her company deals with different size of models and not only slim ones.
She added that her company deals with training models as well as using them in advertisement and other corporate functions.
